4/17/2023 0 Comments Summertime doin time sublime mp3![]() Needless to say, fans loved it, but looks like No Doubt hasn't played the song live since 1992. It literally felt like a hit song that never got past demo stage. Anyways, this is probably the most 'popular' unreleased demo, a since this demo tape and frequent live performances brought this favorite to many fans' attention. I don't know why they decided to cut "Where's Your Lovin'?" in the end. ![]() "Up Yours" also appeared on that 1991 demo, but it got an official release next year. At least two demos for the song exist (the aforementioned ones from 1988/), but it has never been officially released by the band. "Where's Your Lovin'?" was written by Eric Stefani, John Spence and Paul Caseley (band's former trombone player) in 1987, and it first appeared on their 5-track demo tape from 1988/89 and later on 1991 demo cassette version of their debut album. Though it did get five 8's, in addition to the three highest scores. I was so happy to see it starting strong in top 70/80, before dropping below that. ![]() It's also the first song to end up placed on its low peak position, which is unfortunate. Not gonna lie, I expected this one to do better, but at least my prediction that it's going to be the last one standing out of three "optional" demos was correct. It's time for the last demo to leave the rate. ![]() God only knows how much I love you sooooo. We're losing a so-called "hit that never was".
